Urban Sketching

“Serendipity: being able to make delightful discoveries purely by accident.”

Horace Walpole, 1754

Urban Sketchers are a community of drawers who are dedicated to drawing what they see, on-site and right now. They have groups (called ‘Chapters’) in every country, on every continent.
For me, I follow urban sketching because I like to explore the theme ‘delight’ in my drawings. In particular, I draw moments of serendipity,’ as superbly described by Horace Walpole.
